Who We Are

Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia (HPG) is the only physicians group in Georgia to specialize in providing hyperbaric oxygen supervision and wound care in facilities that offer both monoplace and multiplace hyperbaric chambers. These facilities are conveniently located throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area. HPG is committed to providing the highest level of quality care to each patient. HPG staffed facilities adhere to all industry standards in an effort to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the patients. Our Cobb Hyperbaric Medicine facility at Kennestone Hospital is recognized by the Accreditation Council of the UHMS (Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society) as an accredited facility with distinction.

All of our treatment facilities use state of the art Sechrist monoplace hyperbaric chambers (top center picture). Sechrist was a pioneer in the manufacture of hyperbaric chambers and is still an industry leader. In addition to the monoplace chambers, the Cobb Hyperbaric Medicine facility also uses a multiplace hyperbaric chamber that is 9' in diameter and will treat eight patients at a time (top left picture). Our DeKalb Hyperbaric Medicine & Wound Care Center facility also has a custom-made, rectangular multiplace hyperbaric chamber that accommodates 12 patients (top right picture). We are the only hyperbaric group in the Atlanta area to offer patients the choice of a multiplace chamber or monoplace chamber at multiple locations.

As we continue to build on our innovative wound care practice, we also make it a priority to keep the referring physicians involved from the initial day of consultation to the last day of treatment. This standard of care is what makes HPG unique in the Atlanta area, with excellent healing outcomes, and the highest level of patient satisfaction. Our goal is to provide the greatest number of treatment options for both patients and referring physicians.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is offered as a referral and consultation service only. While patients are undergoing treatment, they remain under the care of their referring physician. Click here to download a Referral Form.
